I was too close to this Bull for my comfort, this was the last capture I did before backing away. When I first spotted him, he wasn't too far from the road, I caught a glimpse as I was heading to try to capture a sunset up Laramie River Road, near the Rewah Willderness in Northen Colorado, USA. I backed up, and looked at him, he was about 100 feet from the road at that time. I decide to go up the road about a hundred yards, park then heading into the bush, to catch images from a safe distance. Worked perfectly, he was slowly moving my direction, grazing as he went. I believe he was aware I was there, with an occasional glance. Then I hear cars stopping, and people getting out and shouting "there's a moose! there he is!" and "here moosie, moosie" and making poor moose noises. Ruined my solitude moment with the bull, But they have a much right as I, to enjoy such a magnificent animal. The people did cause the bull to move my way, at a slightly quicker pace, but he was still more interest...
Thank you for taking a moment to view some of my photos! I try to capture wonderful beautiful moments in time, in nature, and in life. My favorite is nature, to try to bring the beauty and drama of nature for others to see and enjoy. In the moments in life, they are forever gone, unless someone sees it, and senses the mood, and brings it for others to feel and enjoy. Whether it's a dog, patiently waiting to be let in, or an old cowboy, looking at the fire. When I'm out hiking in the darkness, using a headlamp to see, wondering what sunrise will bring, is a special time, then the wonder of the sun coming up, bathing everything with it's light, is an incredible moment, being in touch with nature. I try and hope to bring these...

Wonderful capture, love the look in his eyes and he still has most of his velvet on his rack, he was probably saying, don't mind you taking my picture at all, those folks screaming like idiots are the ones who are annoying me. Great shot Steven, and wonderful story.

Thank you so much for your kind words Lesa!
