Early morning, the sun rose and light up the valley. I stepped out on to the beaver's dam, hoping it was solid, to capture this panel of images. This was taken in the San Juan Mountain, in Colorado, just outside of the town of Ridgeway. It was an incredible morning, basking in Autumn's Glory.

When I'm out hiking in the darkness, using a headlamp to see, wondering what sunrise will bring, is a special time, then the wonder of the sun coming up, bathing everything with it's light, is an incredible moment, being in touch with nature.
