Artist's Description
A Big Horn Owl, whose family lived in this old tree for a couple of years, the tree had a perfect spot for a nest, it was so hidden and protected from the weather, that I was just extremely fortunate to have found it. Many of the owls pictures I have are from this family. But a few years ago, they disappeared, and have not returned to the nest, I keep checking, and hoping that they or another owl returns and using the perfect nest again.

My favorite is nature, to try to bring the beauty and drama of nature for others to see and enjoy. In the moments in life, they are forever gone, unless someone sees it, and senses the mood, and brings it for others to feel and enjoy. Whether it's a dog, patiently waiting to be let in, or an old cowboy, looking at the fire. When I'm out hiking in the darkness, using a headlamp to see, wondering what sunrise will bring, is a special time, then the wonder of the sun coming up, bathing everything with it's light, is an incredible moment, being in touch with nature.
